Ground Control to Mayor Tom: Shake That Thing!

Yes, there was an earthquake last night in Berkeley. A quake of 3.7 magnitude hit the city at 7:12 p.m. yesterday. It was centered 2 miles east of Berkeley. Nothing exciting. One student remarked that it was “friggin scary as mothafuckin hell.” Alrighty then.

Although I do have to admit that any movement of the earth when you’re in the top bunk is frightening. While I was napping once, I was suddenly shaken awake. I thought it was some fat kid jumping up and down in the hall or perhaps my neighbor having hot sex (fat chance), but no. Earthquake. Always so disappointing.
