Because There’s Nothing Better to Do

It’s that time of the year again. Finals are coming. The semester is winding down. Eff it all. Sit back and veg on the couch. It’s the holiday season and that means only one thing.

No, not hippies in the trees.

Girls. In Lingerie. On the catwalk, on TV. It’s the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Catch it today, Tuesday, on CBS at 10 p.m. The supermodel line-up includes Alessandra, Adriana, Selita, Gisele, Karolina, and Izabel. Justine Timberlake is the featured musical artist, so you know the drill. TV on mute, right hand ready and poised for action.

All right, this has nothing to do with Berkeley, but we all need to poke our heads out of the bubble every now and then. And I say now.

  4. Does anyone know if Bowles Hall is going to be converted to the Haas Exec Education building for good? What’s the status on that decision?

    Bowles Hall conversion was approved quietly along with the decision to build the training facility directly above the Hayward Fault. It’s all going to happen no matter how many oak-residers there may be.

    So no one’s complaining? I can see them using Bowles during the summer, but year-round?
