More Wiki Madness

For those of you done tampering with the ASUC Wiki page, two student wikis are in the works: CalWiki and UCWiki. If you all are looking to spend creative energies elsewhere, they’re worth a look.

  1. It’s nice to see that some wiki projects are getting started in Berkeley. The Berkeley Wiki used to exist, but has been deaded for some time now.

    Davis Wiki is a good example of a more mature wiki, and it has software actually designed for being a localwiki. Since I should probably make a point in this post, I should just say that I hope all of you contribute to such projects as it has been incredibly useful to me at Davis. A resource that can tell you the local wifi spots, the hours of all the local restaurants, and the reason there’s a cow with a hole in it is pretty useful (well, the first two are). And, of course, it has been the source of much ASUCD scandal, and how can that not be fun?
