What Happened at the Naked Protest?

I stopped by at 1 when I got out of class and the protesters were all gone. According to various LiveJournalers:
“There was only a dozen people and they weren’t there for long. I walked past them around noon and they were gone 30 minutes later.”
and
“They all had really big signs and I was by Durant Hall so I didn’t get a good look but no one seemed to be really naked.”
and
“When I walked by, there were people in various states of undress, including complete (well, maybe if you overlooked the strategically placed signs). The crowd of onlookers was certainly larger than the crowd of protesters though.”

Did anyone go and get pictures? I would be happy to link to them or post them. I’ll update this when the Daily Cal article comes out.

P.S. I have not heard a single person discussing this protest who cared at all about the actual cause of the protest, and most of the people didn’t even seem to know what the reason for the protest was. Kind of funny that it’s the Naked Protest and not the Protest Against Sweatshops, the way it should be…

*Update* You can see photos of nakey protesters here, and a discussion of the merits of the protest over at Patriot Blog.

  7. mo kashmiri left the asuc because of not being able to afford tuition one semester at Boalt, in which he returned the following semester.

  8. mo kashmiri is a douche.

rather than recruiting students who might actually help with fundraising, boalt tries to get students who can sue the university for millions. nice work!

  9. Mo wanted to stay in the senate they would have let him he was so popular and no one wanted Yvette Felarca #21 to move in, Mike Davis said no and punted him, that’s how Yvette got her first term

  10. No one wants yvette felarca in the senate still. that’s why she almost won for student advocate. plus everyone hates how student action and calserve chooses the damn student advocate.
