CalStuff New Year’s Predictions

Here are the things that I think will happen in the next year.

Please chime in with your own predictions in the comment section.

1. A Berkeley protest will make make national news.

2. A CalSERVE or Student Action candidate for an executive office will be disqualified.

3. The SQUELCH! Party will do something even more offensive than the Ghandi posters last year. Most likely, this will be as inadvertent as the Ghandi thing was.

4. Cal football will finish in the top 8 in the country.

5. At least three of my predictions will be horrendously, embarassingly wrong.

6. Mano and Bhanu will find themselves in complete agreement over a controversial issue.

7. The Shannell Thomas incident will be mentioned somewhere besides CalStuff. (Daily Cal… ASUC… other?)

8. Something will go catastrophically wrong with the ASUC elections. (For the purposes of this prediction that will be defined as major cost over-runs, technical difficulty that leads to a delay in the vote, or massive levels of fraud.)

9. Berkeley has another good sex scandal. Some of the good recent ones were the Putnam Porn and the law school dean who allegedly slept with and/or sexually assaulted a student. Am I forgetting any other good ones?

10. I will graduate. [I figured I would make at least one a gimme so that I don’t go 0 for 10.]
