Berkeley Media Finds Internet Server - Quits Using It As Beverage Coaster

The Daily Cal has unveiled its new website design. Honestly, I’m impressed. It’s bold, colorful, streamlined, modern, and has comments. Yes, that’s unsolicited praise for the Daily Cal (technology, not content). The only things the new site is really lacking are RSS feeds for all sections, RSS feeds for the comment strings, 24-hour news service, and the fact that the annoying sidebar ads are still on the right side.

Additionally, the UC Berkeley Newscenter continues to improve its online services. Check out its new portal here.

Shoot, with all this, CalStuff may soon prove to be redundant and dissolve into thin air! (Just kidding, we’re still wittier and more entertaining than our competitors. Plus, our commenters have more fun.)
