When he came to campus to give some sort of honorary talk a couple years ago, people were reported scared by what a nut he is. I still see articles quoting him as an expert on other issues that don't bring up his eugenics ideas. At his talk, he was doing things like showing photos of fat smiling people and thin unhappy people and saying that people with the thin gene are harder workers because they aren't easily satisfied so they strive more. Then he showed photos of happy people with dark skin and unhappy norwegians and was going down the same line saying that white people genetically are driven to work harder. The thing is, the only way there would be a mechanism for a discrete behavioral trait and another trait such as skin color to be linked would be if humans asexually propagated like bacteria/plants/snails/one lizard. However, people have recombination and what he was saying was really dumb.
