Is it just me or does anyone else find that Asians succeeding more than white people to be the epitome of the values of minority success? Oh wait, let’s bring back affirmative action and undercut their successes. White power!

The only groups that are overrepresented at Cal are ALL Asian groups except general Pacific Islander. This is because most Pacific Islanders call themselves Tongans, or Guamanians, or Samoans, etc. All three of those groups are overrepresented.

Whites, Blacks, Latinos, Native Americans, yes they are underrepresented.

WASPs are underrepresented? I’d love to see stats on the % of California that is WASP v. the % of WASPs that are admitted.

Jason, to “not stand for it” means you’re going to take active measures to get rid of him, not that you’ll just disapprove.

Actually if you go back and read the newspaper, we weren’t unopposed. But you can throw uninformed comments around if you’d like.

And I’m not saying he isn’t allowed to be intolerant. I’m very well aware of his first amendment rights to be intolerant. I’m merely saying that we won’t stand for it. I hope I’m not alone in that sentiment.
