From the same people who bring us webcast.berkeley.edu comes UC Berkeley Podcasts. So far it is the audio from a few of the guest lectures at Berkeley and the site looks to still be in development. However, it maybe a cool feature in the future, as classes could be delievered this way.

*Update*: Some of you have also pointed out Berkeley Groks, a science show on KALX, is already being podcast.

  1. Awesome!

With the school getting into podcasting, as well as other random students (like John) it should help provide blanket publicity that will be good for all of the individual efforts. I guess I should get myself an iPod.

  2. Remember you don’t need an iPod to enjoy podcasts. Any mp3 player can be configured to use them, and future versions of Windows Media Player will support podcasts just like iTunes. Plus, for our podcast it would be good to get an mp3 player with a recorder built in and large storage capacity.

  3. Berkeley Groks is probably the best Berkeley-related thing on podcast right now: http://www.podcast.net/show/47580

    Science/genetics fans would approve.
