Another Cal Football Controversy
Just like during the season, freshman Robert Jordan continues to drop the ball.
Earlier this week, Jordan and fellow freshman Bernard Hicks were pulled over in Hicks’ car, which “smelled like burnt marijuana”, according to this article. Hicks’ was arrested for possession after several more bags of marijuana were found in the car, which has landed him criminal charges and a suspension from the team.
Jordan did not have any drugs on his body, but was cited for having a large dagger as a concealed weapon. He is not currently suspended from the team, as the program does not specfically prohibit weapons (see David Gray). Expect Jordan to be in a uniform next season with a spotless record, with Hicks taking a fall for one of Cal’s receivers, a treasured commodity around here.
